Medical group will distribute novel RTD wound dressing

Darg Medical Group LLC (Iron Station, NC) and Global Products Technology LLC (Holly Springs, NC) announced the signing of a multiyear distribution agreement for RTDwound care dressings. RTD wound dressing is a wound care dressing for a broad spectrum of both acute and chronic wounds. The dressing was developed by George Walter Medical and is the only complete category crossover wound care dressing available commercially. RTD uses a patented process to produce and manufacture the dressings, which have broad applicability on various wounds. The dressings are constructed of polyether/polyurethane foam matrix infused with three antimicrobials; gentian violet, methylene blue, and silver sodium zirconium phosphate. This unique construction provides a managed working matrix that allows the dressing to absorb fluids and provide broad-spectrum protection to help manage simple infection and agglomerate colony wounds.

As part of the agreement Darg Medical Group LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, has rights to market, sell, and distribute RTD wound care products, and will be the exclusive distributor for United States Veterans Administration (VA) hospitals, veteran’s long-term acute care facilities, active duty military hospitals and treatment facilities, and military veterinary facilities. This distribution agreement takes effect immediately.
